What’s A Smile 😊 Worth?

I’ve been thinking about this since yesterday. Well, since I couldn’t place a certain price, I decided I’ll ask you.

How much is a smile worth?

Do you know?

Before you place price, let’s first see how much value it offers:

1. It Makes You Relax

Do you know people are so troubled that they resort to consuming anxiolytics πŸ’Š to relieve them of their burden?

You won’t believe it! It’s happening, even more, these days. The news, the economic depression, the bills that are just pilling up, unemployment, infertility,… These problems are making the future seem like impending doom.

The uncertainty of modern life is drowning more people than it has ever been.

What do you expect? People are increasing getting anxious about what tomorrow holds for them. And so to relive this bloodsucking feeling, they just take to drugs and substances like alcohol 🍻.

A genuine smile from someone you love, even from a stranger, fix you up and dispell your worries. Naturally and at no cost.

What a blessing smile is!

“Sometimes, dearie, I think I would give my life just for one of your smiles, cos when you smile, it blows me away.”

2. A Smiles Makes You More Attractive

A good smile enhances appearance.

Did you listen to that song by Sia that says you’re not fully dressed without a smile?

Exactly what I mean when I said a smile enhances your appearance.

Isn’t that valuable too?

People are all out to spend money on what can make them look good.

Looking good they say is a serious business.

A good smile does exactly this: it reduces the distance between two hearts πŸ’•.

Here’s a secret someone told me long ago:

The shortest distance between two hearts is a genuine smile.😊

You smile to your spouse, it brings them closer.

You smile to a stranger, it brings him closer to being a friend.

You smile to a little child πŸ‘Ά, he sees you as his friend and crawls to meet you.

The attraction a smile give is like a perfume, every nose πŸ‘ƒ sniffs it with pleasure.

3. A Smile Enhances The Value Of Whatever You Give

Imagine someone gave you a handshake without a smile on. How would that make you feel?

At best, flat and indifferent πŸ˜‘.

But let someone else come with a smile and shake your hands, you feel alive cos you smiled too.

His smile causes the mirror neurons in your brain to reciprocate the smile and as you do, you the brain releases endorphins( feel-good hormones in the brain). And that’s it, you feel so good, your mood has got a good lift.

Those are the kinds of people we love to meet each day of our life. They bring sunshine to our day.

Smile is the sunshine that lights up the heart.

The sunshine in a man’s heart is a smile.

Now dear friend, how much is a smile worth?

Today… Be that person…that brings sunshine…

Be that person that will give someone that sunshine today.

In the words of Ray T. Bennett,

“Be the reason someone smiles. Be the reason someone feels loved and believe in the goodness of the universe.”

      1. Wow❗
That’s true. I just checked it a while ago.

Your absence around here was really felt. πŸ˜‰

I have tried liking your posts but as before I was referred to what looks like a blank page.

Don’t know why it’s happening though.

I just want to use this opportunity to say your presence here has made more than a difference; you have actually impacted me, sir,

        Thanks so so much. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸŽπŸŽ
