Why Psychology Comes First.

Man, like a computer, has both a software and an hardware components.

The hardware is his body while the software is his mind.

Of the two, however, the software is the most important.

The software has the program that controls all about the machine .

The same is man – he’s got a mind that has the purpose for which he exists.

All he is and can be is 80% to 85% a function of his mind.

And how he uses that precious and powerful asset is what determines how his life turns out.

The mind is the tool; and psychology is how that tool is directed to function.

The mind has a nuclear order of power, but how he uses it determines whether he becomes a benefactor of this tremendous power or a victim of it.

The rise and fall of a man is of his own making by the way he uses his mind .

In his book The Secret of Ages, Robert Collier nailed it quite neatly :

It may be that you have been deluded by the thought of incompetence . It may be that you have been told so often that you cannot do certain things that you have come to believe that you can’t .

Remember that success or failure is merely a state of mind .

Believe you cannot do a thing – and you can’t. Know you can do it – and you will . You must see yourself doing it.”

Here’s How to Put it To Work:

  1. See Things As They Are.

You must now begin to believe that whatever a man can do, another man also can.

The first rule is to keep an untroubled spirit. The second is to look things in the face and know them for what they are.

Said Marcus Aurelius

2. Act as If It’s Impossible to Fail.

That is the conqueror’s state of mind.

Act as if you are already what and who you want to be.

For as a man thinks in his heart so is he .
